The manufacture of natural stone products begins with the main ("primary") cutting of blocks into slabs (un-edged large-sized slabs). Our company uses diamond-rope sawing machines, single-disc and multi-disc bridge machines with discs of various diameters from 400 to 3500 mm. Diamond-rope sawing machines make it possible to obtain large-format slabs, consume less electricity and water, and are less noisy than disk machines. At the same time, the cost of a diamond tool per square meter of cutting is higher, the machine is more difficult to operate and maintain, the crushed blocks before installation on the machine, as a rule, are subject to primary preparation.

Disk machines allow you to obtain slabs and blanks of smaller width, but with lower cost and slightly higher productivity per unit of equipment. In this connection, the prices of the company "PetroMramor" for strips and blanks obtained on disk machines are cheaper than large-format slabs per square meter.
