Section of textured stone processing

If you want to get products with polished, polished, polished, heat-treated, butchered or with another type of surface treatment, then slabs and strips from the main cut section fall on the textured processing section. Polishing of slabs and strips is carried out on bridge single-head polishing semi-automatic machines and conveyor-type machines (polishing line).

If you want to get a polished or polished surface, then simply the polishing process is not brought to an end, but stops at processing with an abrasive with the required grain size, which determines the required degree of surface roughness. On the same equipment, with the help of a special nozzle, the surface is treated with "antique" (aged, "leather").

Heat treatment is carried out in a well-ventilated room with oxygen-propane burners. At the same time, due to thermal stresses, particles are exfoliated from the surface of the stone, which creates a decorative and anti-slip effect.

Bucharding (spot treatment) is carried out due to mechanical shock effects with a special tool (bucharda) with carbide elements. The degree of roughness of the resulting surface may vary depending on the size and shape of the carbide inserts. It should also be noted that this method is applicable for not very thin plates, since thin plates can split under mechanical shock load. Therefore, usually plates thinner than 30 mm are not bucharded. Forged (furrowed), bumpy and other rarely used types of textured processing are most often performed manually. The "rusticated" surface, also called "rock", is usually obtained using stone-cutting presses, that is, by splitting stone blanks.
