The Nikolaev (Moscow) station of St.-Petersburg has been created under the project of court architect K.A.tone - the rector of Imperial academy of Arts.
The ensemble of the Nikolaev station was erected with 1847 for 1851 with the assistance of architect K.A.Zheljazevicha.

In 1993, after crash of Councils, V.I.Lenin's alabaster bust in the center of the Light hall has been replaced with Peter I bronze bust.
Modern scale restoration of the Moscow station was spent to the 300 anniversary of St.-Petersburg and then reconstruction of cash halls was spent.
