The apartment house on the area of Arts the house 5 (Italian the house 4) is more known under the name Zhako House. This house has been constructed by architect Paul Zhako in 1831. The external shape of a building is perfectly entered in the general ensemble of constructions on the area of Arts, Conceived by Charles Rossi. Facades of buildings answer the areas of Arts to the main dominant of this ensemble - to the Mihajlovsky palace. In a consequence the house of Zhako has been built on by photographic pavilion.
