After transfer in 1999 of the Mihajlovsky garden under management of the State Russian museum reconstruction of a garden which is carried out with 2002 on has been planned 2004. Reconstruction has concerned also pavilion Rossi on the Sink. In these works company PetroMramor was engaged in delivery of granite plates and manufacturing products from a natural stone.
Pavilion Rossi in the Mihajlovsky garden has appeared in the first quarter of the nineteenth century. It was preceded by building of the Mihajlovsky palace and
Scale reconstruction of the Mihajlovsky garden under projects of architects K.I.Rossi and A.A.Menelasa.
Before a pavilion building have constructed granite landing stage on the bank of the Sink. Visually to connect pavilion with ensemble of the Mars field, Rossi has displaced a building Pavilion concerning an axis of the Mihajlovsky palace so that pavilion position would coincide a longitudinal axis of the Mars field. The garden between the Mihajlovsky palace and the Sink has been transformed to landscape park.
Pavilion Rossi with granite landing stage on the bank of the Sink limits park from the northeast and includes a semirotunda and two premises, united by a Doric colonnade. After the termination of modern reconstruction, near to pavilion Rossi have established a bust of the architect and busts of artists K.Bryullov and A.Ivanov.
